Things that are True about the Intruder

It is considered ill luck to acknowledge the Intruder first, but if another brings it up, you might hold some of the following to be true:

The Intruder dwelled within a star that fell to earth.

The Intruder is, or was made from, the metals within a star that fell to earth. These metals may remain part of it, and are greatly desirable or deeply suspect.

The star that fell was, itself, the Intruder.

The star is merely a small piece of the Intruder, who is unknowably vast.

The star that the Intruder is/is within/was made from/became actually began on earth, and fell away into the sky.

The Intruder fell cleanly through the earth.

The star and Intruder fell into the sky long ago, and has since returned back to earth.

The Intruder’s star broke the firmament on it’s way to or from the earth.

The Intruder’s star passing to or from earth is proof that there never was a firmament.

The Intruder’s star is now contained by the firmament.

A mountain or crater you are familiar with is the Intruder, or the remains of its passage.

There are horrors in the world that are agents of the Intruder.

There are horrors in the world that are enemies of the Intruder, hunting it.

Humankind is responsible for creating the Intruder.

Humankind is responsible for making that which hunts the Intruder.

Within the Thickets Campaign hexcrawl, there are a number of locations that people who know of The Intruder might associate with it. The lake at 1110, with the hole in its center so easily rad as the site of something hitting the earth or being spat forth, may be the most obvious. I am also considering having npcs associate it with the buried temple at 1308, the missing mountain at 0904, the river anomolies at 0111-0411, the dam at 0603, the compass construction in 0101, and the wall of Catage itself.

The fall/ascent of the Intruder, in particular when associated with The Horseman and their hostility to it, can also serve as one of the many subjects blamed for the mass death and exodus that lead to the unsettling of the land the hexcrawl takes place in.

Up next Horsemen He looks like men in long robes seated atop powerful horses, resembling but not quite exactly like some of the sturdy draft breeds and Thickets Hexcrawl Key full for blot
