Matilda Persson (she/her, 26) has a serious expression and a hate in her heart for any guest who causes a problem. She has worked here for 5 years and yearns for anything better, but a series of expensive car problems has trapped her here where she can easily walk to work (lives in the same hex).

Bernie Roberts (he/him, 58) complains about all his coworkers to vent his frustration at having to take this job at all. The key to his heart is to humor his nostalgia for when he was still a logger. Lives in 0505.

Patrick Baker (he/him, 22) is a gamer. He is currently obsessed with Enter the Matrix. Inattentive and overly familiar. Plays his game boy advance constantly, usually the handheld release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3. Lives in 0505, bikes to work.

Lori Toole (she/her, 28) looks constantly exhausted, and disobeys the dress code with her numerous piercings and bright red dyed hair. Sister of drug dealer Dennis Toole. Carries a folding pocket knife with a spider decal. Lives in the trailer park at 0403.

Brooke Angerman (she/her, 35) is a struggling single mother who also works at the library. Her favorite subjects to talk about are her 7 year old daughter Lily and romance novels. Changes the TV in the lobby to game shows whenever she can. Lives in 0404.

Leonard Haan (he/him, 44) is the manager of the motel and is astonishingly sleazy. He has just enough of a foot into the local drug trafficking and sex work to be useful for someone looking to score, and he keeps a notebook of “blackmail” material that in actuality would get him killed if anyone worth blackmailing learned about it. Lives a town over to the east.
